Baudelaire Portrait Wallpaper by SnafuDave Baudelaire Portrait Wallpaper by SnafuDave
I'm rather proud of how this one came out especially for just a sketch and no coloring. I absolutely love the movie Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events and this is my fanart of it. The idea was a family portrait after the fire.

It looks freaking awesome. Think Charlie except much much more goth like. Johnny Dep is the bomb so it has to rock and the whole thing seems a bit creepier/darker/scarier to a degree. It probably won't be too similar to the first at all actually but a good movie never the less. But yeah download the preview on... crap I can't remember the site they linked it in my forums under film flam or something like that. I'd go find it but... ok I'll go find it.

Thanks bud. It's a filter though no real talent involved in the burning.

ACtually, no...I don't usually read--kind of an unusual feature for a novelist, but meh. >^_^<

Watch the movie it's great. Has humor, awesome style, awesome acting (yes despite some movie reviews all the actors NAILED their characters to a T.) Awesome story, And the best of all the coolest closing credits of all time.

six months how torturous. I want it on video as well for the credits alone. I seriously want to steal that style of closing credits for life. So so so awesome.

the Whole movie is enjoyable if you remember it's a VERY fantasy world much like a Dr. Seues Cat in the Hat type thing. Things don't always work the same way as our world so if your not being "that wouldn't happen like that" the whole time and accept that things are messed up in this Lemony Snicket world it's an AWESOME ride to watch. And the Credits. They're just neat. Think flash cartoon in dark gothy style almost. Oh and the movie is funny here and there but it's overall a very sad tale exactly as it claims to be.

Looks good. I think you could have done better making look old and burnt, and something is bothering me about Claud's (I think that's right) forehead/hairline. Still awesome though.

Klaus and yeah they're not "that" realisitic it's basically a comic book version of em. And yeah the burning effect is just a cheap quick filter. It looked better than just white before.

Its like you drew the boys head on somewhat of an angle though, but other then that its good. You got their likeness down.

Im a fan also but i think Count Olaf's portrait would be funner to draw...his profile is pretty wicked.

Yeah the boy's back is facing you and his head is turned a bit more extreme than normal that's a good critisism, I'll bite. Thanks man.

I like it. the paper doesn't really look like old paper but that doesn't really matter. you didn't capture the true beauty of emily's eyes but it's a very nice image, nonetheless.

I enjoyed that movie. Though, I believe the books were better. But I can't be sure because I only read the first 2. Anyway, great job! It looks like them!

Thanks. Yeah I watched the movie, then read the first two books then watched the movie again and then read the third book. Personally the movie owns the books in my opinion but both are incredibly well done for thier particular mediums. Love it to death. Thanks for the compliment!
