This is some fan art of Horo Horo from Shaman King. I love the style of that anime to death and Horo Horo is the super awesome number one. This is also the first time I've used a Wacom Tablet. Sadly it's not mine I'm just borrowing it from a friend. But it was fun to try it out.

it's hard to do. I still can't make the lines work well so I do that the old way (by hand and scan it.) and color it with the tablet. But my friend gets back tomorrow and I may no longer have acess to one. *tear*

Yeah I didn't know about the anime either until I accidentily downloaded a Shaman King episode and music video while trying to download other anime instead. The show is good but not great. I'd recommend it as something fun to watch but it's no Naruto. But the art style they have is frickin awesome. It's not the style I used for the image but it's still their character design. And yeah the wacom thing though I spent several weeks trying to figure out how to get it to work the way I wanted and after a few questions on the forums on my site I got the settings tweaked just right. After that using it wasn't too bad. I'm not good enough with the thing to do line art with it yet, just coloring. Sadly I think I'll have less than a week before my friend takes his tablet back. I really should art it up while I have the chance. *does nothing instead*

The tablet is already becoming more naturaly to work with. I really should buy one for myself but everytime I get that kind of money together I think "this could buy a lot of videogames." So you can see the problem.

yeah I know it. And here is the real kicker the one my friend has is the 500 dollar one that's big and nice. So I don't even know if I'd like the 100 dollar one as much since I haven't tried using a smaller less sensitive one. It will probalby be fine but now I'm scared a cheaper one won't be as good to use and then the expensive one is like geez it's 500 bucks. I need to just kill my friend. It's the only answer really. And yeah comics and figurines get me too. I just got Legend of the Spider Clan comics in the mail today. Wooo woo. and I have a TON of figurines.

as far as wacoms go, my girlfriend has an A4 (small one), n its sensitivity is just as great as my cousins A3 (big), u just hav less space to work in... the small one cost bout R400, convert to dollars, is about 70, not bad...

as 4 the comics, u lucky bastard!
wot figurines u got? i only rele started getting them, but me girlfriend has a crapload! m supa jealous!
